This site went live in the beginning of October 2008, in time I hope to have an extensive collection of information about Witley, which symbolizes how the Country house declined during the 20th Century. The former vast Italianate mansion, largely converted in the nineteenth century from an earlier Jacobean house, it was never reinstated after the fire of September 1937.
